Installation Instructions

This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing Haztrakr on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

  1. Download the APK/XAPK file from this page.
  2. Install BlueStacks by visiting http://bluestacks.com.
  3. Open the APK/XAPK file by double-clicking it. This action will launch BlueStacks and begin the application's installation. If the APK file does not automatically open with BlueStacks, right-click on it and select 'Open with...', then navigate to BlueStacks. Alternatively, you can drag-and-drop the APK file onto the BlueStacks home screen.
  4. Wait a few seconds for the installation to complete. Once done, the installed app will appear on the BlueStacks home screen. Click its icon to start using the application.

Using LDPlayer

Great app regardless of what Keith posted. It is free you need yo have a key and be an agency with the compliance portal to get chemical inventory. Fire departments should call their CUPA for access.

About this app

Haztrakr provides mobile access to hazmat site information.

This information comes from databases of hazmat sites maintained by regulatory authorities. The authorities jurisdictions control access to this information through Haztrakr license keys (without which the app will not function). A single license can cover multiple jurisdictions.

You can select the hazmat site to view in two ways. Either by using GPS to find the nearest hazmat sites, and then picking from that list. Or by searching the database for user entered text and choosing from the list of matching sites.

For each hazmat site the app can show: The name and address; The emergency contracts' names and phone numbers; The site maps; And the hazmat inventory.

Now requires user to provide name, email and phone number when activating a license.
