With a few updates and a little ironing out of creases this has real potential to become a really unique and helpful app

About this app

DyslexiaMate is the most comprehensive tool for anyone with any reading disabilities or problems. It uses the OpenDyslexia font throughout the application to maximize readability.
It includes a keyboard extension with customizable text features that can greatly improve one's smartphone experience by improving readability. The app features an in-built browser (same customizable text options) with text-to-speech and speech-to-text (also available outside the web browser) functionalities. To aid users with text in hard copy or form, the camera feature is used to take a photo, converted into a soft copy with text recognition and the text-to-speech function is put to use again to narrate the text.

This display follows a linear and logical layout, uses good color contrasts and unjustified text in columns, minimized confusing and redundant white spacing (single spacing instead) as outlined by the American Dyslexia Association in their guidelines for catering to those with dyslexia.

New features

The keyboard has been removed and is now a separate extension app. Additionally, some design changes have been made.
