This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing Chronus: DashClock Host on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

  1. Download the APK/XAPK file from this page.
  2. Install BlueStacks by visiting http://bluestacks.com.
  3. Open the APK/XAPK file by double-clicking it. This action will launch BlueStacks and begin the application's installation. If the APK file does not automatically open with BlueStacks, right-click on it and select 'Open with...', then navigate to BlueStacks. Alternatively, you can drag-and-drop the APK file onto the BlueStacks home screen.

Love the DashClock compatibility this offers, but lately world-readable extensions disappear from Chronus multiple times a day (both the widget and the extension list). I presume this is an issue with the DashClock host (maybe related to Android 10?).

The calendar extension does not show any event info (I tried several settings). Only a single line with event name and time

not sure what the point of this is. i get the idea, but dont understand what "world readable" is. what are these extensions? where do i find them?

IMPORTANT NOTES:
- This is not a stand-alone app! It is a module used to enable support for "world-readable" DashClock Extensions in the Chronus Widget.
- Non-"world-readable" extensions are not yet supported as it will require Extension developers to update their apps.
- You must have Chronus version 12 or later installed to use this app.
- This app cannot be installed (Error 910) if the DashClock app is already installed on the device. Only one of the two can be present on a device at the same time.
