About this app

Movement Detection App. BEFORE USING, READ THIS.- Motion Detection App using your old or not used android phone.

We all know that there are billions of android phones in use today and a great deal of people have more than one phone. Whether you need to have a security device or you just want to detect when your children enter your room just for playing, this app is for you. This app uses the embedded sensor of the device to detect:

a) Someone took your phone (used as a trap) or someone is trying to open something.
b) The door is moving.
c) The energy was disconnected/connected (if you plug the USB cable).

If some of these events happens, then the app sends you an SMS message. You can also review the events using the app but the primary messaging service is SMS.

In order to use the app you need to set the SMS phone, then select "door" or "sensor threshold". Door means you place the phone attached to a door vertically (see the photos). Sensor means you place the device horizontal on something (waiting for somebody to grab it).
If you use only the battery of your device, it is convenient to disable wifi, bluetooth an any other app that you don't need, in order to extent the use of the battery. I have tested this for almost two days.

Test the app to get used to the sensibility and remember that FALSE-POSITIVES may occur. Hence, place your trap accordingly.
Also:
* If you use door, use a velcro to fix it in the door.
* STOP just stops the service. You can restart by going to settings or exit the app.
* You can use the USB cable to detect energy loss.
* The app save all the data in a txt file name "presence-events.log". Just in case you need to review past events.
* Every four hours the app lets you know whether the service is running or not. You cannot change this.
* This app was created for API 16 to 24. I tested it in phone using Android 4.1.2, 4.4 and 7.0.
* This app is made for phone (not tablet or something else).

So let the frog croaks or "frogs" you when someone is around.
