This is a free app which will tell you information about the screen of your android device. The app is free, and very user friendly, just one page where the details are displayed. The details include the following:
- Screen width in pixels and inches
- Screen height in pixels and inches
- Screen diagonal length in inches

In addition, it reports details about the DPI. Here's some information from wikipedia: "Dots per inch (DPI, or dpi)[1] is a measure of spatial printing or video dot density, in particular the number of individual dots that can be placed in a line within the span of 1 inch (2.54 cm)" The DPI information reported by this app is as follows:
- Horizontal DPI
- Vertical DPI
- DPI Density
- Density Ratio
