This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing ANT+ Plugin Sampler on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

Worked great until Samsung S10 upgraded to Android 10 December 2019. Then stopped working. July 2020 still not working on Samsung Galaxy S10 and similar devices with Android 10.

works well with my bike stuff. any chance it could be modified to display signal strength info for bike power meters, to allow it to be used to diagnose power signal dropouts for various head unit locations on a bike?

The ANT+ Plugin Sampler allows interaction with all the ANT+ devices supported by the ANT+ Plugins. It is intended as a testing tool and reference code, so it is not extremely pretty and will not be very nice for general purpose use.
