About this app

High Frequency Tone is a free application designed to help you train your dog. The app is made to replace your traditional dog whistle. It can emit high frequency sounds in the range from 200 Hz to 22 kHz. Since dogs have much better hearing ability compared to humans, so this app can emit sounds in the high frequency range which are inaudible for humans but can be heard by dogs. The upper limit of middle-aged adults hearing range is 15–17 kHz, so they are perfect for training dogs. This app does not produce loud irritating noise as a normal whistle would produce. It can only create a quiet hissing sound for humans. So it can be used to train or command animals without disturbing nearby people.

Trainers can use the app to gather a dog's attention or to inflict pain upon them for the purpose of training them or behavior modification. Dog Whistle can be used to train the dog, teach them new tricks or stop the dog from barking. Just open the app, adjust the frequency, play the whistle and your dog will start reacting.

Make sure that the dog is not exposed to the sound for too long. Or it might tamper their hearing ability. Also, don't use this app on puppies and kids.

P.S: There is also another important use of this app. Frequencies below 20kHz are humanly audible, so use this dog whistle app to conduct a hearing test. Start going through all the frequencies and find out the highest frequency you can hear. Use earphones to check the frequencies of both your ears separately. Be careful when listening to the high frequency and also do not expose your ears to the frequencies for too long.
