This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing Notification Dialer on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

  1. Download the APK/XAPK file from this page.
  2. Install BlueStacks by visiting http://bluestacks.com.

Really great app. Especially now it's linked to Contacts for the selection of shortcuts. The option of adding more than 4 number shortcuts will be appreciated in a future update, if possible. Many thanks to the developer.

About this app

Notification Dialer enables you to directly make phone calls even when the phone is in lock screen.

New feature: Turn the flashlight on/off from the lock screen as well (Camera permission is required to control the flashlight). A dedicated check-box for enabling this button is available in the application main view.

To enable Notification Dialer to show it's buttons while the screen is locked, please remember to turn on notifications, but even if you do not enable lock notifications, you will still be able to use the notification buttons when the phone is unlocked.

For example (Depending on the flavor of the OS, yous phone might present the menus differently):
1. Go to system settings.
2. Select the MY DEVICE tab.
3. Open the Sounds and notifications options.
4. Scroll down to "While Locked"
5. Enable lock notifications according to your preferences.

The "run as Startup" permissions is used to enable the application to automatically start after a phone reboot.
