This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing Suspension Service Reminder on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

This is actually an amazing app with a really nice UI. Genius. Would be even better though if you could set individual forks and shocks with different numbers of hours. Also way too many notifications, I only want one when it needs a service, not everyday.

About this app

This tiny, simple, free app that automagically keeps track of bike suspension service intervals and sends a reminder when they are due by using your Strava data. The app sits in the background monitoring your Strava rides and sends an alert when its helpful. Set it and forget it.

If you have high end mountain bike suspension such as Fox, BOS, Cane Creek, Marzocchi, X-Fusion or Rock Shox you will want to keep them working at 100% by following the recommended service intervals of as little as 30 hours. This is 30 hours riding which is not the same as the time spend outside which generally involves a fair amount of chatting, resting, crashing and general faffing.

6 hours on an XC epic is not the same riding time as 6 hours hanging about in the bike park. Fortunately Strava keeps track of all of this for us so we don't have to.

Once the app is running it will stay up to date on your Strava activities and alert you when it's time for a service. No more guessing.

Keep track of multiple bikes and multiple shocks and adjust the service interval to your preference
