The app is good, but sometimes it takes time to load. Also i dont get how to set the lullaby, its tough setting only one song with the timer, sometimes it works sometimes it plays all of the songs. Also i didn't know that there no video record option in my Dcs850L

Everytime there is an update the app fully disconnects from the monitor. You then need to spend hours reconnecting (no exaggeration) but everytime you try to connect their WiFi to the camera it cancels out your own WiFi therefore making it extremely difficult to have a functioning camera. You need WiFi for this camera to work. You should be able to stay connected with each app update but apparently the tech guys dont understand. Anyone looking at buying this product - DON'T!!

Worked only twice. Took ages to recognize Camera and every restart is a pain in the xxx. Got rid of it to buy a new one :(

EDIT: they have seemed to fix the user U. I. I haven't had any crashes in awhile and less glitches over all. Fairly happy with the changes. PREVIOUS ISSUES: The microphone crashes the app every time and once it reloads the camera is gone from the list so you have to close it all the way then reopened the app and do it all over again. previous update would not allow camera name to change. impossible to to change Temperature and sound settings. OVERALL: ISSUES FIXED! Only took a couple years

Awful. This app used to work perfectly fine. Then 2.5 years later D-Link decides to completely revamp it and flush it straight down the toilet. Frequently disconnects, extremely slow to respond (try to move the camera with the controls it takes over 10 seconds to respond to your command), sound now cuts out when the screen is off, have to often reboot just to get the sound to not stutter. I want to now just toss my camera in the trash and move on to another brand.

what have you done! as soon as the screen turns off the noise stops, how am I meant to hear my child crying now? it consistantly crashes, it's a pain to connect, it's slow! I use to be able to turn the LED lights off as they flash so brightly but I've had to cover them. how do we get our money back! so they update the app to enable background noise, awesome. less than a week later the app is useless, doesn't even connect even after reset everything. time for a new trustworthy baby monitor
