With no option to auto connect, it is useless for certain use cases. I'm trying to use samsung dex on a Note 10 Plus and a Superbook. I can mirror the phone screen, but even with a hub and don't hdmi plug to activate dex, I cannot get dex through this. If I have an hdmi monitor I can, but that defeats the entire purpose of the Superbook, or having a portable displaylink to connect an Android device to a screen either with dex or if it's a device with no screen.

I would like to take back part of my previous comment. I figured out that samsung uses dex. I accidentally click to switch to dex display when it prompted. Under notification panel, found out there is another prompt to switch to mirroring display which solves my problem. However, I would still like to have the capability to extend not mirror. But this is one step closer.

Suddenly decided to add 4th monitor using my phone to watch twitch while working on three monitors. As I had spare Lenovo USB-C/Thunderbolt dock, connected it to my Xperia XZ1 Compact, and after allowing this app to access dock, I got image on it's first DP port. Sadly while in twitch there is 1080x60 video quality, image on Dell monitor is low quality, i.e. WoWarships chat is almost unreadable. But I don't need it too much, more like a nice background visual noise for me. Listening Flamuu chatting through dock's headphone jack is a good addition to working process on other 3 desktops. I'd put 5 stars but not sure what causes bad image quality when app's page says 1920x1080 is supported. Thanks anyway for the app!

Extremely limited. The image on my computer monitor and tv is smaller than the screen. The app lacks any settings. Video content on Netflix is not displayed. There is no LAN support either. The mobile app is years behind the desktop.

I recently got hold of a small DisplayLink USB TFT screen that has been previously used with a cash register. Dunno the model, but it has a "TVS" logo on the front. Works flawless with Windows 10, but not with my tablet due to USB bus power issues. Not enough mAmps, I guess. I'm gonna try more Hosts at a later point of time. Maybe some of them have enough power to get the screen up and running. I'll keep you informed.

Galaxy s7 edge. I was able to use the app to connect a displaylink dock to a monitor, wired keyboard, and mouse, but the app did not use the LAN port on the dock. Why not?
