This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing Fyndr Alert on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

Can not even open the app. Maybe that's why they were selling the Fyndr charger so cheap. Also, disappointing to see that there hasn't been an update to this app in over 2 years seeing as everyone else is having the same problem. Did the developers just give up on this potentially great feature of their products?

1 star is too high a rating for this app. Its broken, wont even start just keeps on crashing. Dont waste your time on the app or your money on their product.

App crashes as soon it opens; I didn't bought it thinking to use the fyndr app but is just frustrating that is all over the package and is nothing more than a hoax.

Doesn't work, app keeps crashing. I'll update this review if this issue is sorted out promptly, but right now I couldn't recommend this product. Mostly because I'm not even able to get into the app to try it out

Why is this product still for sale if Findr Alert app is non responsive and can't be opened. Total waste of money and time. Will be returning it back to JBHifi.

This is the companion app for the FYNDR ALERT car charger. Use this app to setup and configure your FYNDR ALERT car charger.


PERSONAL SAFETY ON THE ROAD

Once your FYNDR ALERT charger has been activated, the FYNDR ALERT app will automatically send an SMS/email in addition to one phone call to your designated contacts in an emergency. In addition with the SMS/email, a detailed location tracking map is provided so your family and friends can provide timely help in the event of an emergency.

Sends up-to-date location tracking and map info through SMS and email. Your family and friends can provide for timely help at the emergency location.

*Requirements*

- A supported smartphone with the FYNDR ALERT app installed and configured is required for most FYNDR ALERT features to function.
- Working internet connection for the FYNDR ALERT app to notify the contacts nominated in the app.
- Device supporting Bluetooth 4.0 (Bluetooth Low Energy).
- Android 4.4 or higher.
- Both Bluetooth and location should be enabled in the system settings and the app should have permission to use location data. Otherwise contacts won't know your location when FYNDR ALERT's SOS is activated.



The app has been tested on Samsung Galaxy S4, S5, S6, S6 Edge, A8, A9, HTC One, Butterfly S, LG Nexus 4, Nexus 5, Sony Xperia E3, Nexus 6P, Asus Zenfone 2


The following devices are not recommended:
Samsung Notes 3, Motorola Moto E, HTC Butterfly


*Continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life.

1. Issue fixed for lower OS version compatibility, i.e. 5.0.
