This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing By The Hour on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

  1. Download the APK/XAPK file from this page.

About this app

Do you charge clients by the hour? If so, remembering when you start and stop on a particular project can be a pain. By The Hour is an app that allows you to enter your hourly rate of pay and then launch a timer that can run in the background of your phone. When you finish, stop the timer and calculate your pay. It's that simple.

Once you enter your pay rate and start the timer, the app does all the calculating for you. It multiplies the number of hours by your entered pay rate. You don't even have to worry if you work for less than an hour, or more than an hour but less than two. The app will also calculate pay based on the minutes you worked.

If your rate of pay is $50/hour and you work for two hours and thirty seven minutes, your total will read $131. The app can calculate the number of minutes over or under each hour increment and display the total rounded to the nearest dollar.

In the coming updates, users will be able to text and/or email their client(s) with the total as well!!
