I just found out that this app is always running in the background, even after I stop it from running. It always starts up again!!! And of course it has the microphone permission turned on all the time. So tell me WHY DOES IT NEED THE MIC ON ALL THE TIME WHEN I'M NOT USING THIS APP. I paid for this, and now I'm DELETING IT.... PLEASE DON'T USE THIS APP. IT CAN BE RECORDING EVERYTHING YOU SAY IN YOUR HOUSE, BUSINESS, LIFE . . . ITS ALWAYS RUNNING

I have used this app daily for music practice over the years on my phone and tablet. It is perfect, no frills, does exactly what I expect, loads quickly, never crashes. I often run it in the background, using the record/stop controls on swipedown while I bring up metronome and tablature in the foreground. I wish all my other apps were like it.

Put this app on a phone/tablet that has good microphone performace such as this Samsung Note series phone. Set this app for its "highest sound qualty setting" and you will be amazed with the results. Add good headphones and you'll simply wonder, "how?" "how?" "how?" I come from an audiology background. I know how things should sound. This app does its part perfectly. 1 year later... The "wow-factor" continues!

I've used many recording apps and this one is the best so far. I've never had issues and it works every time. Recording quality is very good, it captures the people who whisper very well. 👍🏼

Many voice recorders out there but this is the best. The quality of the recordings is excellent and the app is easy to use. One great feature is your recordings can go straight to your Google Drive or Dropbox accounts getting past the niggle of transferring your data from phone to computer (or anywhere else). Combined with otter.ai it makes a perfect package (for my needs at least).

Very reliable only once or twice missed my recordings. Glad it wasn't really really important but important enough. But I have been using for years and I trust them the best but, tried others I always come back. Clear sound , mostly immediate recording without doubling back. Trying upgrading! But in total I love this app. :) :)
