This is obtuse... It's unintuitive. The date functions need a handbook to go with them... all I get is Error, Error, Error. It's a unique design; I'll give you that!

I downloaded this app, without really ever using it I'm deleting it and looking for another one. It probably does all these cool things that it promises to but I'd probably never use most of them. I was looking for a pretty sophisticated calculator that would have everything I could ever want and then some, but this one falls short for me. One function that I consider pretty basic to a scientific calculator is a memory key (well, M +/-/R, so three keys). It seems this one does not have that, I e-mailed the developer probably about two weeks ago and have received no reply (I also avoid apps with no support available).

About this app

Calcularis: The only scientific calculator you will ever need.

A history feature will allow you to save as many equations as you need and allow you to retrieve them when needed or edit them. No need to press the = button because Calcularis is always calculating.

The full equation with multiple lines makes it easy to keep track of what your are calculating. All the standard scientific functions are on visible keys. There is a scientific and engineering notation mode as well.

Simply the the best free scientific calculator on the market.

* applications such as Tip and split calculator, and Loan calculator
* large set of constants
* unit conversions
* functions accessed from the FN button
* key layouts such as a 10 Key and Programmer/logical calculator accessed from the KEYS button

Some have asked the question whether you still need your TI, HP, Casio or Sharp calculators. The answer is yes. Phones are not usually allowed in the classroom or in testing centers. You will always need your old calculator for that. Plus calculators like TI-83, TI-84, TI-89 and TI-Nspire include graphing capability that is not currently supported.
