I really like this app, it's a very practical way to replace my old webcam. The video quality could be better though. Could you consider adding an option to change the settings of the codec that is used with WiFi or USB? Somehow the video that I make with my phone normally looks significantly better than the video that DroidCamX produces on the computer. Thank you!

Amazing. Easy to use, high quality and it's completely outside of OBS as an independent camera source. It doesn't get much better than this. Easy, fast clear zoom. Responsive controls. Thanks for a great product. I was happy to purchase it. The value is incalculable when comparing it to literally any of the web cams I thought to purchase. Now I use my phone, it provides an incredible quality image and goes back in my pocket when I'm finished. Bought a phone mount from dollar tree!! 😎👍

Been using this app for a couple years now I believe. My webcam broke and wanted a quick alternative. Well I never really bought another webcam or felt the need to honestly. Not only is the quality already better than half the ones you find in a laptop, but you can use it wirelessly through wifi. Just walk around wherever and show people whatever you want. Went ahead and bought the pro version because this app saved me money by not buying a webcam and its worked flawlessly for me.

I used this app for the entire 20/21 school year, the free version would have been sufficient for my child's online classes, but i liked it so much i grabbed the paid version just to mess with the features and wasn't disappointed. Id also like to mention that over the course of the school year there were several updates to both the android side and the server side on my pc, so dev is still on top of this app. so if you are on the fence about getting the paid version, do it, the fact that the dev doesn't nickel and dime on important features is great reason to support their work.

This app caused my last phone to consistently crash and it bricked it. I gave it the benefit of the doubt and used it on a new completely different phone and this app caused it to crash constantly as well. Unless they buy me a new phone they can not rectify the situation. Tl;dr don't buy this trash app it'll brick your device.

Love this app and use it daily my only issue is having to manually swap between cameras. Other apps like Iriun can have multiple cams as an individual device within one instance of the app without the need to manually click between cameras. If this app could do that it would be the dominating cell phone camera app on the playstore.
