If the app crashes while you're using a v50 Elite, the camera will completely freeze requiring you to remove the battery and put it back in. On top of that, the app does not allow you to change the password for your camera, and it is impossible to change the password and WiFi name. You can also not rotate the screen while using the app, and you cannot save pictures or video directly to your device

V50 Elite. The functionality of the app is fine, but the huge dissapointment is the non rotating orientation combined with such a miniature preview panel (& no full screen). I bought this 10" tablet just to preview what I am filming on a larger screen than the camera's lcd and it is really not much bigger. Whats the point??

EK7000, Connected on 4 different hi spec phones & tablets but performance of AKASO app sucks, it simply doesn't work correctly. Unable to view pics or vid to download, consistently freezes and the live view shows approx 1 frame in every 10. Camera is ok for the cost but don't waste time on the app (developers haven't issued an update since mid 2019 and simply don't bother with replies). Other apps can work with this camera but unfortunatly you'll lose functionality. Hope this review helps some.

v50 Ellie crashes this app, camera freezes, stops recording, and gets hot. You need to remove the battery to get it to turn off. The camera doesn't work with the app to record. The only function that works is downloading your videos to your phone and changing some settings on the camera from your phone.

Got the camera today. The camera is great but this app is shocking I can record etc.. But I can't view the gallery it just says something in Chinese when I click on it and as i can't read what it says it's kinda useless. This app really needs to be fixed

Fails to connect to my EK7000. The instructions that came with the camera doesn't even say to use this app, rather a third party app that doesn't work either.
