Installation Instructions

This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing HearingPod on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

  1. Download the APK/XAPK file from this page.
  2. Install BlueStacks by visiting http://bluestacks.com.
  3. Open the APK/XAPK file by double-clicking it. This action will launch BlueStacks and begin the application's installation. If the APK file does not automatically open with BlueStacks, right-click on it and select 'Open with...', then navigate to BlueStacks. Alternatively, you can drag-and-drop the APK file onto the BlueStacks home screen.
  4. Wait a few seconds for the installation to complete. Once done, the installed app will appear on the BlueStacks home screen. Click its icon to start using the application.

Using LDPlayer

  1. Download and install LDPlayer from https://www.ldplayer.net.
  2. Drag the APK/XAPK file directly into LDPlayer.

About this app

HearingPod App is designed to control and adjust the settings on HearingPod device.
The HearingPod device is one of a kind IoT hearing assistant that allows the user to customize the device settings to meet his/her daily need.

HearingPod provides two operation modes. The user can operate the device standalone or with HearingPod App on Smart devices.

HearingPod App key features:
- Use as a hearing augmenter to improve the sound quality
- Use as a hearing equalizer to enjoy music from the internet
- Use as a hearing balancer to make the receiving call through a smartphone to sound better

When working with smartphone HearingPod App:
- Allow more personalized hearing assistant settings to be saved both in HearingPod App and HearingPod
- Play streaming music from any source Apps on a smartphone, e.g. podcast, internet radio, music player, through personalized hearing assistant
- Compatible with a phone call and voice calls/mobile communication Apps.

There are various user interfaces on HearingPod device allow the user to connect to the smart device, adjust the volume, reduce the noise, save/recall the hearing profile, view the device status, plug in the headset, answer the phone call, connect the external mic when needed, and charge the battery… etc.

There are screen pages on HearingPod App allow the user to control HearingPod device, in addition, allow the user to perform the advanced settings including modifying hearing profile, saving hearing profile, loading hearing profile to the device … etc. The HearingPod App also provides 8 default hearing profiles and up to 12 customer-defined hearing profiles. The profiles can help the user adapt to a rapidly-changing environment.
