Nice UI, but there are some issues. / After I finished the setup (initiated from the Dashlane app), it showed the page to set up a new token, and when I backed out, it showed the tokens list but it was empty. I had to force quit the app and then everything appeared. / The tokens don't automatically take the name from the login they were created from. Instead, they use the domain name of the website. / Using the bulk edit mode and making some changes results in the app crashing repeatedly.

Time to time it fails to properly create an entry. Then after success, I ended up seeing a duplicate. Once happened that the camera failed to recognize the qr code when chrome on desktop was set to dark mode. But this worked with other apps (same site, same qr)

Seems like a good idea Until it deletes a profile multiple accounts but not all of them and now i can't log in to important information. A waste of security

when I add a token, this app says "something went wrong" and my token is not saved in the app, despite the website I'm setting it up for acknowledging the correct code being entered during setup.

The dashlane app asks me to install this app to enable 2FA. And this app has no way to enable that - its ui is even not match their step-by-step guide on their web.

Can't turn 2fa off, can't log in, can't do anything after resetting my mobile. It's still all ok on my laptop but I dont carry that everywhere. Can't get customer support apart from FAQ reply. Should not be this way..Unimpressed, gonna cancel my subscription when my rage settles down. Useless

About this app

Tired of waiting for one-time password codes in your texts and email and copying and pasting them to sign in to a new account? Dashlane Authenticator makes it easy to protect your accounts with an extra layer of security beyond just a username and password.

You can use Dashlane Authenticator for any website, account, or service that offers 2-factor authentication (2FA) or 2-step verification (2SV) with a QR code or manual key entry.

Never lose access to your 2FA tokens

No phone? No problem. Dashlane Authenticator helps you seamlessly back up your tokens (one-time password codes) to your Dashlane Password Manager account—so you won’t get locked out of your accounts if you misplace your phone.

Use both Dashlane apps together

Some things—like sunshine and the beach—are just better together. So are Dashlane Authenticator and Dashlane Password Manager. Installing both apps on your device makes logging in even easier, so you can:
-Secure your Dashlane account with 2FA on Dashlane Authenticator
-Get 2FA tokens in both apps for convenience
-Use Dashlane Password Manager’s Autofill feature to avoid typing in six-digit tokens manually
-Get push notifications to verify your identity when logging in to Dashlane Password Manager on a new device—instead of waiting for and retyping a six-digit token
