Took me a wee while to get my head around it but got there eventually and it works! Also emailed the developer for help and got a reply pretty quick. Tip. If you wanna hide the icon in the notification bar, go to the setting of of the app and select "disable notification". Huge thanks to the developer for a great app!

I installed the app last night before bed. It worked great. But today I'm
uninstalling before noon because of its fatal flaw. As I was lounging on
the couch, silent mode kept engaging and disengaging in my pocket. When you
install it tells you to set up a widget, but the widget shown in the video
doesn't appear among available widgets. There is a different silent mode
widget though. There's no explanation of what the widget is for, either.
Maybe its to enable and disable the app, but if I need to tap a widget for
that, why wouldn't I just use a widget to enable/disable the phone volume
and skip this app altogether? Another problem, which others have reported
but it's still not fixed, is that when it all goes silent mode off, it will
turn on your volume even if the volume was muted or set to vibrate before
silent mode was toggled on by the app. It should return the phone to the
exact same volume state as before it was engaged.

Works, however there is a bug, If you put your phone into vibrate or silent mode (via settings), and then you flip phone down then back up - the program turns on your sound. The program should set the phone back into the mode it was in before - and its not necessarily sound-mode. Uninstalling until this can be fixed.

Good app, but has a serious bug. The silent mode on the widget keeps
changing back to "do nothing mode" by itself. Sorry, I will have to look
for another app.
