About this app

Multistep synthetic reactions that involve the use of reagents that are flammable, toxic, corrosive or have explosive potential are hazardous in view of their potential to trigger fires and explosion.

The aim of this mobile application is to mitigate their occurrence by (i) identifying high risk reactions; (ii) informing PIs when these reactions are planned by their students/staff; (iii) confirming that the reaction has an endorsed Risk Assessment; (iv) prompting PI to further discuss the reaction with the student/staff.
