If everything works, the app is okay. But most of the time, there are issues with the scheduling like thermostats not obeying the schedule or inconsistent behaviour such as manual changes sometimes being overridden by the schedule and sometimes not. The app has some synchronisation issues. Manual changes on a thermostat don't show up in the app. And if a member of the household changes the temperature or mode of a room, it sometimes doesn't show up for other users. I can not recommend it at this point.

I have to say it works but it does not support the previous gen devices from Danfoss. Also there is no history for temperature changes, which would be super useful for learning how to optimize home heating. I've invested 2000$ into Danfoss Link system for my home heating just to find out that a year later they release Ally and now completely refuse to fix any problems in the old system. This is not a smartphone which you change every couple of years, it is home-maintenance devices which are supposed to work at least a decade or more and save you money. But if you deprecate the old system every few years it will never be economically justified to invest into Danfos systems. Why should I pay premium price for Danfos if I could go with something 4 times cheaper from AllyExpress?

It could be a perfect app... It looks pretty well and it does what it supposed to do. Although some flaws make me crazy: it displays a child lock option, but this option can not be activated, it misses the basic help function Erich would explain what some functions do, like open window detection (you need to Google it on web to find out that this will switch off the heating for 30 mins in case the open window is detected) l, could not set the location of my home, it simply does not load.

App experience could be streamlined. Slow to connect to device and then sometimes app itself is slow.

Personally I am experiencing some control issues with thermostats not opening up, which I have already contacted support about. Would be nice to be able to see logged setpoints and measurements over a week or more.

Location doesn't work on Android... :(, only on iPhone. Last update of thermostat took 90min. each
