After rooting my old Nexus , I decided to try and use a ps3 controller for my lego games. Found this app, followed the instructions (obviously make sure your device is rooted with su access), download the utility from the devs website, pair the Bluetooth addresses and your away. The controller works flawlessly and even can control the home screen of the tablet. I havnt found one downside to this app yet, even battery drain is no more than using any other Bluetooth device. Highly recommended for the best Android gaming experience.

Its working for ds3 but not perfect, can you add auto turn off feature if no controller button pressed or is idle for 5-10 minutes like scarlet crush x input ds3 wrapper. If this app can mimic the behavior of Sony Xperia z1 ds3 driver on android jellybean / ics it will be good.

Trying to use this for pubg, works well however the touch pad will trigger other buttons for some reason e.g. the map, fire, backpack, and left analogue stick. I hope someone finds a workaround for it. I don't expect to hear from the developers as it appears they don't reply to reviews. Poor form, especially for a paid app.

Brilliant app, without this connection is super laggy and basically unusable for me, for someone who was already rooted this was well worth the price of admission, and led me to buying a nyko smart clip so I can play my PS1 and PSP games on the go or in bed easily. Only real negatives are that it seems to block any other Bluetooth devices for example Bluetooth headphones; and that the initial setup is a little finicky, especially if you don't have a windows computer. All in all though great work developer, thanks so much.

App works fine, HOWEVER, wifi disconects soon after driver starts, making some games unplayable, and works normally after stopping. On the developers web site it says to change router channel if this issue occures, and i did, but it has not solved my issue. I have tried multiple ways of resolving this but no luck at this point. I have emailed developer and am waiting for a response. The app would get 5 stars if not for this issue.

App works except after 10 minutes of using the app the controller stops responding and after 1-2 minutes it's comes back for few minutes. If you could fix this I would be very thankful, I can send a logcat if it would help

About this app

*** Please read all instructions carefully. ***

Not all devices are supported, therefore it is strongly recommended that you try the Sixaxis Compatibility Checker (available for free on Google Play) before purchasing this app.

Finally the wait is over... The ultimate gaming experience awaits! Now you can play games on your device the way they were meant to be played! Sixaxis Controller allows you to use the following controllers in many of your favourite games and applications:

PlayStation 3:
Sixaxis Controller
DualShock® 3 Wireless Controller
PlayStation® Move Navigation Controller

PlayStation 4:
DualShock® 4 Wireless Controller (If pairing on a PC, you must use SixaxisPairTool 0.3.0+)

*** IMPORTANT ***
- ROOT access is required!!!
- Due to the way pairing is done with the controllers, you need to manually pair your controller with the PC utility 'SixaxisPairTool' (available on the website) and a mini-USB cable. Android 3.1+ users can also pair directly on their devices via USB.
- It is highly recommended that you use an ORIGINAL controller. Many after market controllers will not work with this app. If you get a 'Client connected: 1' message, but the lights on your controller continue to flash, it is almost certainly not an original Sony controller.
- The fake controllers that are most likely to work (though not guaranteed) are those made by Gasia. If you bought a fake that works but isn't made by Gasia, I'd love to hear from you so I can compile a list of known working controllers.
- Be sure to read the instructions in the help menu carefully.

Features:
- Up to four Sixaxis, DualShock 3, DualShock 4 and Navigation controllers supported at once.
- Support as a native gamepad in Android 3.1+ devices. Full support for analog sticks and analog triggers.
- Keyboard emulation. Map all buttons and sticks to almost any key available in Android.
- Mouse emulation. Configure a button to activate the mouse pointer on devices that support mice (most tablets, and many phones should work).
- Touch emulation allows you to map buttons and analog sticks to the screen. Play all your favourite games with full analog support, even those without built-in controller support!
