What's the deal with continuing to host this program but REMOVING the main paid app from the play store?! I've emailed dancing pixel studios about this and they do not respond. It's like the dev just quit or died. Google doesn't even have the decency to tell you why it was removed they just give you a list of apps that have nothing to do with the one you are looking for. a refund would be nice. but I'm not holding my breath. I'm tired of seeing good apps that Ive purchased removed for no reason!

The actual used to be amazing, why did they take it down? And why is there another app that looks exactly the same but with a similar but different name doesnt even do everything what the old one did and I had to PAY for it AGAIN, thank goodness for being able to get a refund dont waste your money on sixaxis enabler.

App is good (used ps3 control on sync to test the app) but I need root?. By now this dev shouldn't have to cover Google firmware mistakes I joke at the first bit of this sentence in away but really they have to be joking that you can't set up a separate slot on firmware to set keys pushing these devs to cover (as said!). I'll give it a 4 just cause I was using one and it said I need root rather then say what the app is about (setting the axis and keys). Good app otherwise.

I loved this app, that I bought it when it used to work. It does not work for newer versions. Needs updated. Seems abandoned. I will change my review to five stars if it is updated to work.

About this app

This is the companion application to Sixaxis Controller and allows you to check whether your device is compatible with the following controllers before purchasing the full application on Google Play:

PlayStation 3:
Sixaxis Controller
DualShock® 3 Wireless Controller
PlayStation® Move Navigation Controller

PlayStation 4:
DualShock® 4 Wireless Controller (If pairing on a PC, you must use SixaxisPairTool 0.3.0+)

*** IMPORTANT ***
- ROOT access is required!!!
- Internet permission is required only for gathering basic device compatibility info to improve future support.
- Due to the way pairing is done with the controllers, you need to manually pair your controller with the PC utility 'SixaxisPairTool' (available on the website) and a mini-USB cable. Android 3.1+ users can also pair directly on their devices via USB.
- It is highly recommended that you use an ORIGINAL controller. Many after market controllers will not work. If you get a 'Client connected: 1' message, but the lights on your controller continue to flash, it is almost certainly not an original Sony controller.
- The fake controllers that are most likely to work (though not guaranteed) are those made by Gasia. If you bought a fake that works but isn't made by Gasia, I'd love to hear from you so I can compile a list of known working controllers.
- Be sure to read the instructions in the help menu carefully.
