I had some initial setup problems (I dived in like all gadget geeks do!) but after actually reading the instructions properly, I managed to get it working :)

I was excited about the possibilities of controlling the lights via an app but disappointed when I saw how few options there are. There are just four settings (one of which is just a combination - so in reality only three settings), none of them particularly good. The setting 'twinkle' should really be called 'flashing' and is quite unpleasant. 'Sequential' doesn't live up to the name either.

Jan 2016 update does not fix timer bug as it claims to. A truly useless piece of software made all the worse because you cannot operate the lights you have bought with it.

Incredibly poor... not cheap to buy but such low quality hardware and the software matches. Waste of money and time.

This is the worst set of lights I have ever bought. Unimaginative light settings, twinkle is misleading. I get more options out of a £5 set. Newer app doesn't properly either. Cannot change password, or SSID. Timers don't work. Forgets settings.
