App will load up if Bluetooth is off but will crash out as soon as its enabled. UPDATE... Make sure location is on as app crashes as above if not. It works fine now but still a ripoff in my opinion as I dont see what the subscription is for. Its my phone ,my car, my connection and my super expensive upgrade option. Tut.

Unfortunately it simply does not work. Each time I try to start the app , the app crashes. Very disappointing application from Mercedes.

I bought a S560 which had the hardware to upgrade for remote switch on. before upgrading my software the app was useless and no one told me it won't work because of that matter. I just upgraded my software and now it works as described with my Galaxy S10.

App keeps crashing. It just won't open. Can't believe Mercedes is letting such app coming up to the market.

After reading all the negative reviews I did a little homework and did find, hidden at the very end I might add, the disclaimer on their website. Mentions that it'll only work on Android versions upto 7.1... I have an Samsung S8 running 8.0 The app is more a gimmick than amything else and I would have probably used it rarely. If the parking space is too small for me to get in then how will the other car driver get back into their vehicle without denting my doors! But thats not the point really is it. So rolling back isnt straight forward but fortunatly I have an old Samsung S6 I should be able to use. Can leave it in the glove box and use as a remote. Hardly a real solution but it'll work for now until they provide a firmware update to vehicle. I would imagine that'll need to be tested extensively until they can release it in case it effects other components. Shame they dont explain that and a shame its not plastered all over their marketing in RED Bold lettering. Just like the lack of 4G internet they dont tell you the Vodafone SIM preinstalled is limited to 3G. Not very transparent or honest way of communicating with customers. I have a GLS63 and now in addition to that a new E63 today! :-) Love both of them dispite the stupid lack of detail with their technology... maybe Ill have a closer look at BMW next time. (Which will be soon) The M5 seems like a viable option and they seem to be ahead in the technology competition. All Mercedes needs to do is own up... be honnest. Say an update will take x months, apologise and send a free cap/teddy/voucher or something. Its the little things that count.....
