The whole experience has been one long frustrating journey. I had to use Beta app to connect our 6 inner AC units to the app. The controls in the app are not identical to the unit's features, but that's to be improved. Recently I can't control anything! Similar to other comments, the app seems to be connected, but no control possible! You pay a lot, but the service is below par. Hopefully Daikin is brave enough to contact any of us?

Overall good experience, but it has some big issues: - There is no confirmation that the command succeeded or not. Maybe a beep from the unit, or some visual thing in the app that the unit acknowledged your command? - And to add to that, commands that you send now don't go through, but remain in the queue and activate hours later. I was surprised to see my AC just switch to powerful mode and a lower temperature while I was sleeping; - The app does not have an option for "comfort" mode.

All was going well until the following totally spoiled the party. What really makes a remote operation app is trust. Trust that when you fire a command it will execute quickly or not at all. NOT actually executing the command after 5 hours in the middle of the night. Completely untrustworthy app. Maybe good for the statistics but not much more than that.

Used to work since last update but now units behave in strange way. They do not respond to commands, sent commands look to be queued and, as a result, the units autonomously wake and start blowing. No chance to use the app to turn off anything. Cannot imagine to be away all day with units at full power without any affordable remote control. This app is totally useless. Will uninstall.

Recent installation: 3 indoor units on 1 outdoor unit. The app worked ok at start but suddenly the whole system went offline. After reseting the devices and network the system is no longer controllable with the app... The devices are visible and connected but cannot be set. With remotes everything works just fine . It's a shame that such a brand is not able to produce a decent working app... Expected more.

Using this app there's a long lag to respond to commands. Sometimes the AC unit turns itself ON without any new command (based on old command processes minutes later). Using Google assistant when I send a command to turn it off the unit ignores it. The Google home app can't really figure out if the unit is on/off. Very frustrating!
