Installation Instructions

This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing Clipboard Extension (copy/paste) on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

  1. Download the APK/XAPK file from this page.
  2. Install BlueStacks by visiting http://bluestacks.com.

About this app

Clipboard Extension enables you to extend the functionality of your native Android Clipboard(usually referred to as copy/paste) by allowing you to save more clips(copies) which integrate seamlessly with your clipboard. That means all copies you make will also be save automatically and shared between apps.


After you copy/save text item, Just double tap on any text field within your apps to display the selection window and paste.


Note:
Clipboard Extension requires to be enabled under accessibility service, which you will usually receive a warning by the Android System about you data's security. Please note that Clipboard Extension does not transport, use or store your data externally. All copies/pastes you have stay on your device. Clipboard Extension merely uses this service to enable it know when to display selection window, the input type(for proper text handling) and some key events(such as back button presses) to remove selection window.


Further Notice:

If you have any battery optimization app or built-in battery optimization, please remove Clipboard Extension from that blacklist. On some Android go-to Settings >> Battery >> Battery Optimization (from the overflow menu).
