Installation Instructions

This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing Warframe Alerts on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

  1. Download the APK/XAPK file from this page.
  2. Install BlueStacks by visiting http://bluestacks.com.
  3. Open the APK/XAPK file by double-clicking it. This action will launch BlueStacks and begin the application's installation. If the APK file does not automatically open with BlueStacks, right-click on it and select 'Open with...', then navigate to BlueStacks. Alternatively, you can drag-and-drop the APK file onto the BlueStacks home screen.
  4. Wait a few seconds for the installation to complete. Once done, the installed app will appear on the BlueStacks home screen. Click its icon to start using the application.

Using LDPlayer

  1. Download and install LDPlayer from https://www.ldplayer.net.

Used to be my favorite app, but recent changes to the Warframe API or Google Play Services have rendered it unstable. Can't use it for more than a few days, then it force-closes on me every time I try to start it. **EDIT Jan 2017** The new version works again and delivers notifications; the filters also work but the settings are frequently reset to their default status though. **EDIT Feb 2017** After the release of version 7.2.1 everything works as it should, great app! **EDIT Mar 2017** Unfortunately the app stops sending notifications​ after a week or two...

Great no BS format and options but hasn't had a much needed content update in ages. Void Tower Keys and Fusion Cores are still in the listings yet haven't been in the game for over a year now while the alt helmet alerts for new frames since Titania are missing.

The only way id ever get niatin extract. A must. I see some kids complaining below about the filters but obviously they didnt pass elementary. I was able to set to niatin only. If i get the "stop getting alerts" bug.. then ill change the stars.

It seems the app is broken at this point in time. Only showing me expired alerts. Rewards filter list not populating. Unusable for me right now. I'm using a galaxy s6. Setting alerts for ps4. I hope this gets fixed because this app working would be a godsend.

Gotta give it 1 star. Unfortunately it stops working after the first time. I hit refresh over and over again but it never updates. Even resetting my phone it still doesn't update. There is obviously something wrong with the core programming of this app.

Initially it worked perfectly, after a few days the push notifications stopped coming through, which is the point of the app. This also happened to the official Warframe app. Other people are having the same problem, could it be Android related? I didn't give it 1 star because you can still view active Alerts, you just won't be notified of new ones.

About this app

New Internationalisation: English and Russian Interface; German, Spanish, French, Japanese and Portuguese Alerts.

Push alerts for Warframe, designed to provide informative notifications instead of just "New Alerts".

This application simply does push notifications for Warframe alerts, it should use very little battery power since it depends on Google's Cloud Messaging Platform (which your android phone is connected to anyway).

Notifications are descriptive and notifications appear for each alert. When an alert expires if a new alert comes in it will clear the notification for the expired alert. Sound and vibrate is customisable for the alerts.

NOTE: PS4 and XB1 alerts are in the settings, this app defaults to Warframe alerts for PC, but in the settings page you can select to receive PS4 or XB1 alerts instead (or as well if you really wish).

NOTE(2): If you filter out items, alerts with only credits will still come through, to filter these out set your min credits to something really high.

Filtering can be done by planet, minimum credits or by items and are processed server-side (so your phone doesn't even need to wake up to reject a notification, more battery life for you !)

Filters are applied in order:
- Platform (PC / Playstation 4 (PS4) / Xbox One (XB1) )
- Planets (if a planet is unticked, you won't get an alert for that planet at all)
- Rewards (if the planet isn't filtered, if any reward matches, then the alert is sent)
- Credits (like rewards, if no planet filtering then if no reward matches but it's above the credit limit, the alert is sent)

- Server-based Filters (so I don't waste precious battery on your device filtering out alerts you don't want)
