Despite the writeup, Lite provides TWO profiles and does nit allow you to add new ones. Also, it does not include a widget. It also ignores existing android profiles.

Crashes on Android 8.1 when trying to access mobile data settings. Would buy it if the timed profile settings were based on day-of-week options and not only on time (need to distinguish working day/weekend..)

It doesn't change mobile data status in Nougat on a dual sim phone.

Don't install this app on a LG G2! I wanted to add my new findings to my previous review, but couldn't. So I deleted that one and here's my updated review: After installing this app I had to find out that it causes the contacts app to crash on a LG G2: As soon as one of the contacts was opened, the contacts app kept crahsing - which made the phone basically useless. Only a hard-reset could solve the problem - everything was lost. Back to the less drastic issues: Starting takes longer after installing. Also, flight mode can't be controlled with this app although the description says so. Interestingly inside the app info it says it can't. I was going to buy the full version of the app if everything would have worked - now I can't trust its description. With not causing contacts to crash and flight mode control enabled it was what I was looking for. Too bad it's not.

About this app

Profile Widget Lite is an app that helps you manage profiles for your phone.

These profiles can handle:
* Volume (ring, notification, alarm, system and multimedia) .
* Vibration.
* Default phone ringtone.
* Default notification ringtone.
* Wi-Fi status.
* Mobile data status.
* Bluetooth status.
* Screen timeout.
* Screen brightness.
* Automatic data sync.
* Screen rotation.
* Airplane Mode (Android 2.x, 3.x, 4.0.x).

The profiles can be activated both from the app itself and from the home screen widget provided. To add the widget, you just have to long press on an empty space on the desired home screen and select Widgets -> Profile Widget.

The home screen widget can be customized for each profile with 12 colors (6 in Lite version) and 29 icons (10 in Lite version).

Also, if you don't want to use the widget, there's the option to add shortcuts to activate the profiles to the homescreen.

From version 4.0 on, Profile Widget integrates with Tasker and Locale.

With this app you can easily switch your phone from, say, a vibration+no sound mode to a full volume mode to a completely silent mode with just a single click!.

About the permissions: the app now asks permission to read the phone state, just in order to change the volume of the calls when the phone is ringing (the only way of separating notification and ringer volume in Android 4.0+). It cannot do anything else with this information, since it does NOT have Internet access, call or SMS permissions.

New features

Version 5.1:
* Timed activation. Now you can activate a profile for some time and automatically activate another after the time has passed!
* New UI for the list of profiles.
* Different color for widget ring.
* New icons.
* Added WiFi AP Control.
* Added Lock Screen control.
* Added option to show colors in profile list.
* Czech translation (thank you Tomáš!).
* Slovak translation (thank you Peter!).
* Bugfixes! (thank you Chris, Javier, Georg... and my amazing community of betatesters! ;)).
