"Error contacting server" and no support available. This seems like a scam app. Paid version but I can't do anything with it.

Had a good experience paying for their premium services until I replaced a legacy device to one running Android 7.0 (nougat). Couldn't get rules or timeout to work. Emailed them using their website, no response. App hasn't been updated since 2016, they prolly don't care about future support, I think they made a couple bucks and ran. Subscription cancelled, I'll go elsewhere.
