Finally a good way to remind myself of notes I've taken at a conference, pulled from an ebook, kindle book, or wherever. I always think I'll go back and read the highlights, but I never do. EverQuotes reminds me of these!

This is somewhat similar to the personalQuotes app but I like it more, because it grabs notes from evernote based on tags. The app is buggy, though. There is no way to tell it to refresh/re-sync, skip to the next quote or stay on the current one longer (timer-based change), and it has already crashed on me a few times. Still, it's hard to find a good app like this on the android market. So I give this 4 stars. But I hope they earn it later by improving it.

About this app

Designed for Evernote, EverQuotes pulls a random quote from a random note. Notes are converted to plain text, so hyperlinks and text formatting (such as bullet points) are lost.

The default settings are to look at all notes in the Evernote account and to separate quotes by paragraph.

Both those are customizable. You can choose a specific Evernote Tag to pull from if you just want a subset, e.g. "quotable". You can also choose a specific text separator if you wish.

The tablet/phone screen timeout is overridden while the application is active.
