Installation Instructions

This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing Text Extraction on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

  1. Download the APK/XAPK file from this page.
  2. Install BlueStacks by visiting http://bluestacks.com.
  3. Open the APK/XAPK file by double-clicking it. This action will launch BlueStacks and begin the application's installation. If the APK file does not automatically open with BlueStacks, right-click on it and select 'Open with...', then navigate to BlueStacks. Alternatively, you can drag-and-drop the APK file onto the BlueStacks home screen.

About this app

This is an utility app for extracting or scan texts from the image or user can scan the image by camera and get the resultant text and can copy the text or share with any other application. The Text API can recognize text in any Latin based language. This includes, but is not limited to:(Catalan,Danish,Dutch,English,Finnish,French,German,Hungarian,Italian,Latin,Norwegian
,Polish,Portugese,Romanian,Spanish,Swedish,Tagalog,Turkish)

For now following features available.

1. Camera icon denotes scanning the text from any image with latin letter. If the user tries to select all the text from the image then click again the camera icon. If a user try to select a particular icon then tap on the text block.
2. Gallery icon denotes that the user can select an image from the Gallery where all the pictures are stored.So in this section after selecting the picture contains latin text.
3. From this application, you can share the text with other apps or copy the text.
4. Speech recognition of selected text.
