About this app

Pipeline Station Demo is a 10 day limited application that is designed for pipeline inspectors who often need station numbers that are approximate and do not need to be survey grade accurate. The only external information needed is an alignment file from survey. Once the file is saved to the Downloads folder it can be used in by Pipeline Station Demo. Once the file is loaded and the GPS started the station and offset will be displayed along with the accuracy of the measurement which is device dependent.

The individual straight sections of pipeline can be viewed. This can be handy for locating major PI's in the line. Another feature is the ability to search for a station and display its location and get directions there.

When designing this application I had limited access to different alignment files. It currently only supports UTM. If you have a file that this demo can not read please send me an email with the attached file and I will do my best to quickly add the ability to parse it correctly.

** No guarantees of accuracy. This is experimental only. **
