Coolfrog is a heat alarm for your phone or tablet. It monitors and alerts you if your device should ever overheat and become dangerous. Wherever you are, at home, travelling, at a friend`s or even camping, Coolfrog is always with you. So, if something happens, your Coolfrog heat alarm goes off, warning you and those around you, giving you an opportunity to reduce the temperature or take other actions.

Coolfrog is unique both in function and in design. Download Coolfrog to protect your phone (and hence you) from overheating (by charging, lying in the sun etc)
If your device becomes hot, an alarm will go off so you can awake and act before it is too late i.e. phone melts or breaks down or even catches fire.

Coolfrog Upgrade - Alarm Connect
"Alarm Connect" means you can connect your device to other phones or tablets, your friends´, colleagues` or family`s. Your Coolfrog alarm will then sound on their devices as well as yours if it becomes dangerously hot, so if you are away, or asleep, chances are someone else can register the danger and prevent it from escalating.
Alarm Connect is unlimited, meaning you can connect to all your devices (unlimited number of devices).
With Coolfrog Alarm Connect, we watch out for each other`s devices.It basically becomes a network of Coolfrog alarm keepers.

Third party devices.
With the Alarm Connect upgrade, you are also ready to connect to future devices. We are working with partners to allow your Coolfrog to connect to other devices such as a speaker or Dab radio, whether at home or away on travel, or just staying at a friend`s. Not only does this mean you, parents or kids, don´t have to worry about devices going hot and dangerous, but you are always connected to other alerting devices for superior control and protection.

How does Coolfrog work?
It automatically monitors the internal temperature in a device, and this is linked to the alarm, as signified by our Coolfrog icon changing colour as he heats up or cools down. So if you go to "temperature status", you can see the temperature, whether this is OK or not, represented by the colour of Coolfrog and a temperature.
You have the option to set temperature ranges, so if you are in Sahara you might want a higher range than if you are in the Arctic circle. But the best thing is you really don`t have to do anything. Coolfrog, once installed, takes care of the rest. Just use your device as usual.
