About this app

Capsule is your second brain. It's your personal tool for thought, an antidote to the chaos of modern life. It's more than just a diary or journal, though it does that job very well.

"The fool remembers, the clever one writes." –Balkans Proverb

Capsule is an intuitive tool based on a single premise:
"the key to building a space for reflection is to capture memories quickly throughout the day".

Track by Hand
✍️Write about anything that's on your mind.
📷Upload photos of moments you want to remember.
✅Keep track of todos instead of using sticky notes.

💤Sleep Tracking with Google Fit and Withings

History
I worked on the first iteration of this idea several years ago when I built the prequel, called Writeaday. I wanted to capture the fleeting moments of life on my phone. This singular idea captivates me endlessly.

I then rewrote Writeaday from scratch and iterated through prototypes before launching Capsule. Both these tools are built with the belief that tools for thought will become ever more more important as our digital selves merge with our physical selves.

I hope Capsule will help you reclaim your mind like others in this space such as Notion, Roam, and so many others have for me.
