About this app

Haven is a personal safety and security app, developed to ensure your safety at all times and help you feel more secure and protected wherever you are.

The app has many features to help you manage any situation you may encounter. Please go over the following explanations to better help you utilize the app and manage risky, or even life threatening, situations.

Features:

“Call Emergency Contact”: Call your predefined / chosen emergency contact quickly and easily in case of an emergency.
“Send Location”: Send a text message (SMS) with your current location to your chosen emergency contact/s.
“Fake Call”: Receive a fake phone call to help you get out of stressful or possibly dangerous situations.
“Alarm”: Trigger a loud sound alarm and flashing lights to get attention. The app will also automatically send your current location to your emergency contact/s as well as notify them that you set your alarm.
“Open Location”: Predefine and store a safe location / destination. Once clicking on the “open location” button, your map will immediately open and navigate you to your safe location.
“Going Out”: Set your estimated return time, wait time, return location (e.g. home) and emergency contact/s. Once your return time arrives, the app will check your location.

If you haven't returned to your pre-set location (e.g. home or hotel room) the app will ask you if you want to postpone your return time. If you will not respond (wait time) and you have not returned to your pre-set location, the app will notify your contact/s that you have not returned home, have not responded to postpone your return, send your current location and advise them to check up on you. You can also pick notifying contacts to notify when you return home, that you returned safely. This will check your location periodically according to your battery levels.
