This is a very handy app that works like the random adventure generators, found in most SAVAGE WORLDS setting books. I hope the writers do some more apps for settings like DEADLANDS and for superhero games. :-D

I'm enjoying this app. I might try it for my Savage Eberron campaign when I start it up again. I'd like to see support for share intents to share the output to other apps or the clipboard. I'd also like to see the ability to sync saved results to Google Drive.

Great for Savage Worlds RPG games!

The information is good, the app is buggy - "Previous" button doesn't work. The information on the first screen shows the outline, and you can click on elements for details. In the detail screen, the reroll button works, but the 'previous' button does not. This locks you in the detail screen. So, I decided I needed to stop the app and restart it. Looking for the app is difficult, it is not listed in a friendly way in the apps list. I was looking for 'Thrilling Tales' and what I found was "com.combustiblelemons.thrillingtales' I managed to force stop and restart the app. Every time I go into a detail screen, the previous button fails to back me out to the main story.

This is an excellent tool, not just for Savage Worlds, but for any role playing game. Need an idea right now? Done. Game on!

I will definitely be using this. Add a notes section for each part so I can make notes on the characters and plot and it will be perfect.

About this app

What am I?

I am a pulp adventure generator for Thrilling Tales setting for Savage Worlds.

What is pulp?

It's term for a setting of a world in 1920s or 1930s where a crazy villain has a Zeppelin shooting lasers at buildings. He wants to destroy the world. Kidnap a woman. Or be EVIL in other terms. He laughs manically doing so while petting a cat or playing with his moustache.
What ever he is doing, heroes need to stop him! Fighting from areoplanes or dieselpunk jetpacks shooting tommy guns at him. Think Indiana Jones but with a wacky, off the wall stuff.

What is this for?

There are weird people that like to tell each other stories like that. They play those heroes while one called a Game Master points others in general direction, narrating what is going on.
This app is a tool giving the Game Master a rough outline of what is about to happen. From there on he goes further.
All of this is based around the handbook, Thrilling Tales which can be found here. http://rpg.drivethrustuff.com/product/64454/Thrilling-Tales-2nd-Edition-(Savage-Worlds)

What if I want a generator that comes up with something else?

If it is another handbook like Thrilling Tales, chances are it uses similar system. As such you may check out my website link below. Source code is open.
If you don't know how to program, no worries. I could do it too, just provide me with materials and give enough time.
Other thing is, tool addressing such problems is already on my workbench.
