Not the best. I can't edit or change any recordings, every recording has been pushed to the cloud, where they are unaccessible, I am never able to share the recordings because the file size is too large, comparable services had no problems like these. I'm glad I gave it a trial run before actually purchasing.

Overpriced! New Year Surprise? Apparently they decided to charge as much as they can. The useage does not warrant the fee. No longer recommended!

App WAS great until it decided to force me to give it permissions I don't want to give it for features I don't want to use. Forget that nonsense! Too bad, really. I liked the core functionality fine.

I downloaded this app and tried it. I love it and I hate it at the same time. on the good side: it is smart and kind of unique recorder. on the Negative side: It is kind of a stupid design. I cannot playback a recorded conversation on my own phone and clip out the important parts for myself . In the live speech you never know when the important part will come and when to push the button. First you supposed to record the conversation and after being able to clip out the important parts.

I have used the Cogi app frequently for several years now; and have 2 points to make: 1) Cogi is one of the best-designed user interfaces I have ever encountered, which makes it a joy to use, and it is very efficient for taking/making quick notes, BUT ... 2) Cogi has one glaring weakness: it does NOT allow stand-alone storage of your recordings as a (highly-portable) MP3 file. Instead, the developers force you to sign-up for their cloud service before allowing you to 'download' YOUR MP3 file back onto your device. Aaarrggghhh! Frankly, other than the MP3 issue, the app is so good at what it does that I would be happy to BUY a 'Pro' version that would let me save my recordings locally in MP3 format. Unfortunately, Cogi doesn't offer that option (they're narrrowly focused on a subscription service model), so for business-related (i.e. proprietary) info, or recording long lectures (I both give and receive 'technical' lessons in my occupation), I have to use other devices/apps ... a pity.

Great for notes. Lately I've been using it more in settings that I don't want it to be obvious that my memory sucks (like work). Cogi has been ending my recording after few minutes when I put my phone in a bag to be out of sight. What am I doing wrong?
