Thank god. I couldn't figure out why my home button was getting slower and slower to respond, or actually not responding. Then I read the home button may be breaking, and then was referred to your app. This works exactly as advertised, you can go home quickly again =) And there also some extra features which are interesting, even for people who's home button isn't broken yet ;P

Got it for my Samsung Galaxy S6 which is having dodgy home button issues. It works as expected and I even bought the Pro version since I liked it. Only occasionally stops and you need to reboot the phone to make it work again, but that happens rarely. Good for those with defective home buttons, but test it on your device first to see if it works on it.

For me, on my Tab S3, the 'home screen' short press function on the fingerprint scanner instead seems to work as a 'go back' function, so not great at the moment as I already have a 'go back' button.

About this app

Introduction of HomeTouch

★ HomeTouch enables touch feature for home buttons intergrated with fingerprint sensor. It transforms the button into a powerful soft button, manipulating your phone now becomes a relaxing and comfortable experience: In stead of pressing the sensor down to navigate to home screen, you just need to softly touch it.

★ Available actions: navigation to home screen, turn off screen, toggle control desk, take screenshot, navigation back, open notification panel, open quick setting panel, show power button menu, show recent app stacks, launch device assistant, launch camera, switch to previously used app, and show application switcher (similar to Alt+Tab on Windows, switching back and forth between recent applications has never been so easy with this one-touch concept implemented in HomeTouch)

★ A virtual home button on screen is also available for the same convenient functionalities for mobile phones without fingerprint sensor

★ Sound, vibration, delay, color themes ... is selectable.

Important notes before download
===========================

👉 This is originally intended to be used for Samsung phones with touch fingerprint sensor button. It is tested in Samsung Galaxy S7 and J7 Prime. It has been reported to work well in S7 Edge, S6, S5. It may - but not warranted to - work in other brands / models

☆ From Android 8 (Oreo) onward, it is not advisable to use a registered fingerprint, because the fingerprint API will temporarily stop sensing upon recognizing a registered one.

☆ This app uses the Device Administrator permission for locking the device when turning the screen off, if user enables it. This permission should be turned off before uninstalling the app using system panels.

☆ This app uses accessibility services to enable users who find it hard to reach their thumb around the screen easy control of the device:
- toggle system's notification panel, quick setting panel, and recent apps screen
- perform back navigation, home navigation
- open power button menu
- support pausing / resuming HomeTouch service when user switch applications
