Works much better than the remote once you get it connect. The range is very short though, have to keep holding the phone up next to the hood to get it to connect. We followed the instructions printed on the back of the remote, which gave the passcode that you should enter in the app.

Won't connect to my new Luxair Cosmic Stratos Update - After talking to Luxair, who told me to try uninstalling and reinstalling the app, it now works. I did have to clear the app data and cache manually. It now works very well, so thanks Luxair for your help.

The app looks quite nice and I'm sure it would be helpful, however i cant get it to connect to our cooker hood (luxair cosmic Stratus).
