Dr. Pacholec is a Board-Certified Diplomate by the American Board of Bariatric Medicine and Board-Certified Fellow by the American Academy of Anti-Aging Regenerative Medicine.
She has over 20 years of experience with diet, nutrition, exercise and medical weight loss programs. Dr. Pacholec welcomes you to her two practices, Central Pasco Weight Loss Center in Lutz, FL and Pacholec Center for Weight Loss in St Petersburg, FL, which both specialize in weight loss, weight management, obesity-related illnesses, bio-identical hormone replacement therapy (BHRT), anti-aging/regenerative and functional medicine and nutrition.
Dr. Pacholec believes that establishing a trusting and non-judgmental relationship with her patients helps them to better achieve their weight loss goals. Dr. Pacholec uses an integrative health approach to treat the whole individual rather than just the symptom, so that each patient can become healthier in every aspect of their lives.
With the app, Pacholec MD, Dr. Pacholec can monitor her patient’s progress towards their weight loss goals by tracking their weight, BMI, lean muscle mass, visceral fat, calories consumed, steps taken, exercise, supplement use, and water intake.
Patients can set goals within the app, and Dr. Pacholec will be notified when a goal has been met. The app links with a bio-impedance scale and any type of wristband fitness tracking device.
Both devices are available for purchase through the office for a bundled rate of $150. If purchased separately, the scale costs $100 and the wristband tracker costs $70. Dr. Pacholec will set recommendations for patients through the app, and patients can contact the office to request changes or with any questions through the messaging feature on the app.
Dr. Pacholec and the patient can both track progress weekly, monthly or yearly by viewing charts created for you in the app. Patients can accurately track calories by searching for specific food items and branded restaurants through the meal planning section of the app using a search term or by scanning a barcode. The calories and nutritional profile of each food item have been independently verified by third-party nutritionists to allow patients to accurately count calories.
These features will further enhance Dr. Pacholec’s ability to treat her patients and customize programs uniquely suited to the needs and goals of each patient. Pacholec MD is a free app available for download through The App Store (iOS) and The Google Play Store (Android).
Once downloaded, patients can use the app indefinitely, even if they discontinue treatment with Dr. Pacholec. To be successful, patients will need a wristband tracker and bio-impedance scale as described above.
