This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing TON-CO2 on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

  1. Download the APK/XAPK file from this page.
  2. Install BlueStacks by visiting http://bluestacks.com.
  3. Open the APK/XAPK file by double-clicking it. This action will launch BlueStacks and begin the application's installation. If the APK file does not automatically open with BlueStacks, right-click on it and select 'Open with...', then navigate to BlueStacks. Alternatively, you can drag-and-drop the APK file onto the BlueStacks home screen.
  4. Wait a few seconds for the installation to complete. Once done, the installed app will appear on the BlueStacks home screen. Click its icon to start using the application.

Using LDPlayer

  1. Download and install LDPlayer from https://www.ldplayer.net.

About this app

TON-CO2 es la aplicación más completa para realizar el cálculo de emisiones de CO2 en toneladas/año. Se pueden calcular emisiones de los siguientes sectores: Combustible, Residuos, Plásticos, Aguas residuales, Energía, Pecuario (Alimentos, CH4 excretas, N2O excretas, Fertilizantes y Plaguicidas. Además de eso, se puede calcular también en dólar la Mitigación y Compensación de sus emisiones en cualquiera de los sectores pre-mencionados. Es la primera aplicación que les permitirá hacer cualquier cálculo de emisiones de CO2. Ya no estarán limitados cuando necesiten medir su huella C02 en el ambiente para toma de decisiones que cuiden el ambiente.

Cualquier usuario puede usar la app, desde personas hasta empresas.Sin embargo, un requisito importante a la hora de usarla es que se tenga al menos un CONOCIMIENTO BASICO en ECONOMIA AMBIENTAL.

Los cálculos han sido comprobados mediante pruebas independientes. Además todo lo que se usa dentro de la app, como los diferentes sectores (combustible, residuos, etc..) y las fórmulas de cálculo usadas, es sacado de fuentes gubernamentales y de otros organismos internacionales ambientalistas.
La app se puede usar en cualquier país de habla hispana por el momento. Pero se piensa que se puede usar en cualquier país del mundo. Es muy Intuitiva.
La app no recopila informaciones personales de sus usuarios, y es de acceso gratuito. Contiene anuncios SOLO para su mantenimiento.

Todos los cálculos y referencias usados en la plantilla original del excel son de fuentes tanto gubernamentales (Costa Rica) como de otras instituciones oficiales internacionales. Esta app-calculadora es para cualquier uso y es de acceso gratis.
