Installation Instructions

This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing MyAccounts on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

  1. Download the APK/XAPK file from this page.
  2. Install BlueStacks by visiting http://bluestacks.com.
  3. Open the APK/XAPK file by double-clicking it. This action will launch BlueStacks and begin the application's installation. If the APK file does not automatically open with BlueStacks, right-click on it and select 'Open with...', then navigate to BlueStacks. Alternatively, you can drag-and-drop the APK file onto the BlueStacks home screen.
  4. Wait a few seconds for the installation to complete. Once done, the installed app will appear on the BlueStacks home screen. Click its icon to start using the application.

Using LDPlayer

  1. Download and install LDPlayer from https://www.ldplayer.net.
  2. Drag the APK/XAPK file directly into LDPlayer.

About this app

This application does nothing on its own; it is useful together with applications managing contacts. MyAccounts will install a new contact-account-type called MyContacts. Once the application is installed, you can go into Settings -> Accounts and Sync -> New Account. By selecting MyContacts you will create a new account which will be visible to all contact related applications and whose name is MyContacts.

Typical use of MyAccounts is with applications like MyPhoneExplorer or ContactLoader (soon to be released). These applications will be able to use the account created by MyAccounts.

MyAccounts does not come with any synchronization mechanism. It really only declares a contact account. That’s all.

If you need to add or edit contacts from the MyContacts account directly on your phone, you will most certainly not be able to do so using your default contact editor. For this purpose, please install the application called "Contact Editor Free" or "Contact Editor Pro".
