5.1.0 This release moves crew picture files from external to internal memory. This is a change being made to facilitate adopting Android's 11 requirement for apps to go to Scoped Storage.

Version 5.0+ Update making Cirrus compatible with the latest Android standards. Most of the work for this update is on the background threads and the SQL database, instituting Android's new View Model internal data control system and the AndroidX support library.
