This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing Light on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

  1. Download the APK/XAPK file from this page.
  2. Install BlueStacks by visiting http://bluestacks.com.
  3. Open the APK/XAPK file by double-clicking it. This action will launch BlueStacks and begin the application's installation. Simple light weight torch. On off and carry on.

Writes perfectly fine, exactly what I was missing for searching stuff in the dark. Does not switch off light with screen lock, as expected.

About this app

Simple torchlight application:

• Minimalist
• No ads

It's only purpose is to activate the torch of the front camera.

This version should be considered a beta release :
• no option whatsoever
• known bug on some phones: torch deactivates when screens turns off (please tell phone and Android version if possible)

- 0.5.3 disable automatic screen standby on while torch is on
- 0.5.2 should work fine with Galaxy Nexus
- 0.5.1 don't automatically activate flash in some cases
