About this app

DataNap does one simple thing: disable mobile data on your phone a short while after you turn off your screen, allowing you to save battery charge in the process.

That means while the screen is off:

- no application will be able to use mobile data at all
- you WON'T be notified of news mails, tweets, news, …
- mobile calls, SMS and MMS will still be received as usual
- phone will be used a lot less, meaning less battery usage

Of course, when screen is turned on, mobile data will be re-enabled.

DataNap is meant to help save battery for people who don't use their phone all day long, you're not likely to find a lot of improvement if you're using your phone a lot.

Please note that DataNap currently does nothing related to Wifi connections, so if your Wifi is turned on … it might not change anything.

Although it as been tested for a few weeks without any problem, please also note that this application is in its early stages and it might sometime not work as intended (mobile data not disabling, or not re-enabling correctly for example).

Please report any problem you find so the developer might fix it.

New features

1.0.1
- DataNap no longer crash when launched at phone startup
- Added French translation
