About this app

Have you ever wanted to know if a password of yours has been exposed in a database breach? Or perhaps you want to enhance your ability to choose a better password? Well, now you can through your Android device and this simple app!

Simply enter a password, tap the "Search" button, and see how many database breaches it was found in. Tap the "Privacy Mode" slider to hide your entry from prying eyes before you enter a password.

This app will give you a count of how many times a password has been previously exposed in data breaches. It searches the "have i been pwned?" pwned password database, via the Pwned Passwords API, as seen here https://haveibeenpwned.com/Passwords .

NOTE: Keep in mind, this app only searches the results hosted by haveibeenpwned.com. If the app returns no results (i.e.: a zero count) for a particular password, it could have been exposed in the database breach that is not present in the "have i been pwned?" database.
