Great as long as you go west. Says I am going west no matter what direction I am going. Update. Found out my Android phone does not have a magnometer so I really can't rate the app. Suggest an error msg would be helpful.

I really wanted to like this, even with all the ads. It seems accurate once the internal compass has been calibrated by another app or the "figure eight" method. It has decent graphics and features. However, keep it set to report magnetic azimuth and adjust for declination yourself. I could find no way to adjust to true azimuth. I've never heard of a 82 deg. west declination but that is what it was reporting, in my 13 deg. east locale. Calibrated, it works as a magnetic compass ONLY. Be sure to account for your local declination. Too bad, because it has promise otherwise. ON EDIT: I missed the easily overlooked manual declination field on the top of the settings page. It is not the toggle! Once set to your local declination value the compass works as it should, I like it, will upgrade to the paid version and adjust my rating accordingly from 2 to 5 stars. My only recommendation would be to place that field under the toggle for magnetic/true.

Best of all compasses. Happily paid to get the pro. Calibration and true north options are very important. Highly accurate. I just wish that North would be marked more clearly in a different color.

This compass app has everything I was looking for, including a FREE THEME for night use. The readings are very accurate, and, compared with other compass apps, this one is very lightweight.
