The concept is interesting, but the quality and reliability is lacking. App is slow and unresponsive and the Ui is poorly planned, feels like something put together in a rush. I was able to pair and sync with my lights at first, but after a couple of days the app lost sync and won't connect with the lights even when they're on. This app has the potential to be a very useful and cool feature, but right now I feel like I've paid a premium to test an early beta version. Disappointed so far.

Updated review: strangely since following some steps from Cateye the sync process is not working again. These where the instructions provided 1. Start CatEyeSYNC app and confirm no device is left. 2. Delete the pairing information from your SYNC lights. Press and hold the power button of the light for more 10 seconds (the light flashes several times at the end). 3. Click power button to wake up the lights from sleep mode, and then tap + (add device) button in the app to find them. I'm sure i tried this many times before but suddenly it all worked. Not sure if there was a sneaky update that fixed this but it is now working. The app generaly is Ok now that it is working, a little rough around the edges and i would like a home screen widget to turn on all lights but it does at least work as advertised. I would like a better way to choose the flashing modes of the lights, and reduce the enabled list of modes as i don't need all of them.

Works well. Huawei P9 phone. Lights updated with latest firmware. Phone wouldn't detect lights initially but pressing and holding on/off button on lights for 10 seconds resets the Bluetooth pairing. Not sure how accurate the battery gauge on the app is. Was showing 40% remaining on Sync Kinetic but within 15 seconds of plugging into charger the battery level was up to 60%. Also it seems battery gauge only gives percentage in increments of 10%. Would be better if exact percentage was shown.

Works very well. Samsung Note 9 phone. Lights updated with latest firmware. Phone detects all sync lights: Core, Kinetic and Wearable. But, not sure how accurate the battery gauge on the app is. Was showing 40% and 1 hour later the battery level was up to 60%. Would be better if percentage was more accurate.

Fails in its basic function - operating the lights. What does 'tap hold' mean? Tap? Hold? Either way, if you tap, you get told to 'tap hold'. If you tap and hold, still nothing happens. I've made my Sync lights turn on a couple of times completely by chance. Great. What use is that?

Won't find my devices after firmware update. EDIT decided to change my rating now I was able to find the devices, if for some reason you can't find them in the app press and hold the power button for 10 seconds on each light to reset the pairing mode.
